Dr. Till Adams

As this Gentleman’s Mode of Practice differs from that of most Physicians, the following concise Account of it is presented.

Dr. Till Adams dispenses the Medicines which he prescribes, singly, or in Consultation, but otherwise he neither dispenses, nor sells any. When he dispenses Medicines, he does not expect the full Fees of a Physician who merely prescribes, only some suitable Gratuity, according to the Patient’s Ability. If a Patient cannot afford this, he requires no more than Payment for the Medicines.

When he visits out of Bristol, his Fee is proportioned to the Distance, Expense, &c. When his Prescriptions are dispensed by an Apothecary, he receives Fees as another Physician.
